S. 4418 — Lowering Input Costs for American Farmers Act

This section exempts articles classified under heading 3103 or 3105 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States and imported from the Kingdom of Morocco from any duties imposed under section 122 or 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, beginning 7 days after the date of enactment of this Act.

This section revokes the countervailing duty orders on phosphate fertilizers from the Kingdom of Morocco (issued April 7, 2021), effective 4 business days after the date of enactment of this Act. The Secretary of Commerce must promptly cease collection of any duties or cash deposits on such imports, except those assessed in administrative reviews completed before the effective date, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection must refund applicable cash deposits to the importer of record within 90 days after enactment.
