S. 461 — Filipino Veterans Family Reunification Act of 2025

This section exempts from worldwide numerical limitations on immigrant visas certain aliens eligible for family preference visas as adult unmarried sons or daughters of U.S. citizens (INA §203(a)(1)) or married sons or daughters of U.S. citizens (INA §203(a)(3)) whose parent (living or deceased) was naturalized under section 405 of the Immigration Act of 1990 or title III of the Act of October 14, 1940 (as added by the Second War Powers Act of 1942). (Thus, these aliens—typically adult children of WWII-era veterans naturalized through special wartime provisions—do not count against the annual family-sponsored immigrant cap under INA §201(c).)
