S. 715 — No American Land for Communist China Act

This section directs the President to prohibit the purchase of real estate located adjacent to covered federal land in the United States by (1) any agent of the People's Republic of China government or (2) any business owned 25% or more of the equity interests, directly or indirectly, by that government. Covered federal land means land owned by the United States under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of Agriculture (with respect to Forest Service-managed land), or Secretary of Energy, or land that is Indian country (i.e., all land within the limits of any Indian reservation, all dependent Indian communities within U.S. borders, and all Indian allotments to which Indian title has not been extinguished). In this section, the term "United States" includes the states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and any other U.S. territory or possession.
