S. 837 — Defending American Jobs and Affordable Energy Act of 2025

This section repeals four executive orders issued on January 20, 2025—entitled “Unleashing American Energy,” “Putting America First in International Environmental Agreements,” “Declaring a National Energy Emergency,” and “Temporary Withdrawal of All Areas on the Outer Continental Shelf from Offshore Wind Leasing and Review of the Federal Government’s Leasing and Permitting Practices for Wind Projects”—effective on the date of enactment and prohibits the use of federal funds to implement, administer, enforce, or carry out those orders.
