S. 865 — Lobbying Disclosure Improvement Act

This section requires each lobbyist registration under the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 to include a statement disclosing whether the registrant is exempt under section 3(h) of the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 (22 U.S.C. 613(h)). (Section 3(h) exempts from Foreign Agents Registration Act requirements persons whose activities for a foreign principal consist solely of bona fide religious, scholastic, academic, scientific, fine arts, or commercial activities.)
