S. 880 — Fair College Admissions for Students Act

This section prohibits institutions of higher education from providing any preferential treatment in the admissions process to applicants based on relationships to donors or alumni of the institution, as a condition of participating in federal student aid programs under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. The prohibition takes effect on the first day of the second award year (i.e., July 1) that begins after the date of enactment.
