S. 935 — A bill to prohibit sales and the issuance of licenses for the export of certain defense articles to the United Arab Emirates, and for other purposes.

This section prohibits the President from selling or issuing licenses for the export of covered defense articles under the Arms Export Control Act to the United Arab Emirates, or any UAE agency or instrumentality, beginning on the date of enactment until the President certifies to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs that the UAE is not providing materiel support to the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan. Covered defense articles include items listed under Categories I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, XIV, XVI, XVII, or XVIII of the United States Munitions List (22 C.F.R. pt. 121).
