S.Con.Res. 31 — A concurrent resolution recognizing the duty of Congress to meet the needs of working women.

This section expresses the sense of Congress recognizing an affirmative duty to ensure equal workforce opportunity for women; affirming commitments to equal pay, pay transparency, discrimination-free workplaces, workplace safety, health care, childcare, paid leave, fair labor standards, housing, education, and workforce development; condemning policies that weaken protections; committing to strengthen enforcement agencies; reaffirming support for raising the federal minimum wage, eliminating subminimum wages, dismantling occupational segregation, and union rights; and calling for collaborative action by governments, employers, and others.
