This section expresses the sense of the Senate that it (1) condemns the U.S. vote against Ukraine's resolution at the United Nations General Assembly on February 24, 2025; (2) decries the U.S. delegation's refusal to identify the Russian Federation as an aggressor or to call for complete Russian military withdrawal from Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders; (3) recalls the United Nations Charter's principal purposes of maintaining peace and security and suppressing acts of aggression or other breaches of peace; (4) urges the U.S. to work closely with Ukraine and European allies on future United Nations efforts related to Ukraine; and (5) reaffirms support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
