This section states the sense of the Senate (1) supporting the recognition and goals of National Fentanyl Awareness Day to increase awareness of the impact of fake or counterfeit fentanyl pills on families and young people; (2) applauding Federal, State, and local law enforcement efforts to combat counterfeit pills; (3) encouraging the use of existing authorities to stop and prevent illicit counterfeit pills; and (4) designating April 29, 2025, as National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
