S.Res. 246 — A resolution recognizing the significance of Jewish American Heritage Month and calling on elected officials and civil society leaders to counter antisemitism.

This section expresses the sense of the Senate that (1) it recognizes the significance of Jewish American Heritage Month as a time to celebrate the contributions of Jewish Americans to U.S. society and culture; (2) elected officials, faith leaders, and civil society leaders should condemn and counter all acts of antisemitism; (3) elected officials and state and local leaders should educate the public on the contributions of the Jewish-American community and uplift Jewish stories and voices; and (4) all possible steps should be taken to ensure the safety, security, and dignity of American Jews in all aspects of their lives, including at workplaces, college and university campuses, synagogues, and homes.
