S.Res. 251 — A resolution supporting the designation of May 4 through May 10, 2025, as "Children's Mental Health Awareness Week".

This section expresses the sense of the Senate that (1) May 4 through May 10, 2025, be designated as Children's Mental Health Awareness Week to raise awareness of children's mental health conditions and the importance of early detection, treatment, intervention, and prevention strategies; (2) children's mental health relates to outdoor recreation, healthy diet, peer socialization, and adequate sleep; (3) youth mental health be categorized as a national priority with promotion in schools and communities; (4) local, state, and federal organizations be applauded for collaborating on youth mental health awareness and support; (5) individuals, families, and communities participate in activities during the week to promote mental health initiatives, reduce stigma, and improve access to services; and (6) mental health is essential to overall well-being with continued efforts to facilitate children's access to mental health care.
