S.Res. 266 — A resolution designating May 2025 as "ALS Awareness Month".

This section (1) designates May 2025 as ALS Awareness Month; (2) affirms the Senate's dedication to ensuring individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) have early access to effective treatments and high-quality services and supports, identifying ALS risk factors and causes to prevent new cases, empowering individuals with ALS to maintain maximum personal independence, and reducing the physical and emotional burdens of living with ALS; and (3) commends family members, friends, organizations, volunteers, researchers, and caregivers working to improve ALS patients' quality of life and to develop treatments and cures.
