S.Res. 314 — A resolution recognizing the importance of trademarks in the economy and the role of trademarks in protecting consumer safety, by designating the month of July as "National Anti-Counterfeiting and Consumer Education and Awareness Month".

This section (1) designates July 2025 as National Anti-Counterfeiting and Consumer Education and Awareness Month; (2) supports the goals and ideals of that month to educate the public and raise awareness about the dangers counterfeit products pose to consumer health and safety; (3) affirms the need for comprehensive Federal, State, and private sector education and awareness efforts to equip U.S. consumers against counterfeit products in traditional, internet, and other electronic commerce; and (4) reaffirms the U.S. commitment to combating counterfeiting through awareness of its harms to consumers and brand owners and through new education programs and campaigns to reduce the supply of and demand for counterfeit products.
