This section designates June 23, 2025, as Social Media Harms Victim Remembrance Day to honor individuals who have lost their lives or suffered harm due to social media and— (1) reaffirms the Senate's commitment to protecting individuals from harm in digital spaces and promoting online respect, empathy, and responsibility; (2) urges individuals, communities, organizations, and social media platforms to observe the day with remembrance ceremonies, educational events, and advocacy to raise awareness and support victims; (3) calls upon government agencies, nonprofits, and stakeholders to collaborate on initiatives including digital literacy, online safety measures, and victim rights; and (4) directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit enrolled copies to the President, Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Chair of the Federal Trade Commission.
