S.Res. 331 — A resolution calling upon the Senate to give its advice and consent to the ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

This section expresses the sense of the Senate that (1) it is in the national interest for the United States to become a formal signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), done at Montego Bay on December 10, 1982; (2) the Senate should give its advice and consent to UNCLOS ratification; and (3) UNCLOS ratification should remain a top priority for the federal government due to strategic challenges in the Indo-Pacific, Arctic, and Black Sea regions.
