Trump on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania, and on September 15, 2024, in West Palm Beach, Florida; (2) honoring Corey D. Comperatore, who died protecting his family from gunfire at the July 13 rally; (3) honoring David Dutch and James Copenhaver, who were critically injured in that gunfire; (4) expressing gratitude to law enforcement officers, first responders, and medical personnel who responded to the attacks; (5) affirming the U.S. Secret Service's central role in protecting high elected officials; (6) calling on all Americans to unite against political violence; and (7) condemning those who incite violence against political officials.
