S.Res. 404 — A resolution urging the protection of Medicare from the devastating cuts caused by H.R. 1.

This section expresses the sense of Congress that (1) the Senate should protect the Medicare program (title XVIII of the Social Security Act) from cuts caused by H.R. 1 (Public Law 119-21); (2) the Senate should safeguard seniors' Medicare benefits and essential social services jeopardized by those cuts; and (3) seniors who paid into Medicare should be protected from such cuts to their health care.
