S.Res. 429 — A resolution designating September 2025 as "National Infant Mortality Awareness Month", raising awareness of infant mortality, and increasing efforts to reduce infant mortality.

This section designates September 2025 as National Infant Mortality Awareness Month and (1) supports efforts to educate the public about infant mortality and its contributing factors and to reduce infant deaths, low birth weight, pre-term births, and disparities in perinatal outcomes; (2) recognizes the critical importance of incorporating infant mortality reduction into prevention and wellness strategies; and (3) calls on the people of the United States to observe the month with appropriate programs and activities.
