S.Res. 43 — A resolution affirming the threats to world stability from a nuclear weapons-capable Islamic Republic of Iran.

This section expresses the sense of the Senate that (1) Iran's continued pursuit of a nuclear weapons capability constitutes a credible threat to the United States and an existential threat to Israel and other Middle East allies and partners; (2) all options should be considered to address this threat; and (3) Iran must immediately cease activities threatening U.S., Israeli, and allied national security interests, including uranium enrichment, development or possession of nuclear warhead-capable delivery vehicles, and development or possession of nuclear warheads.
