This section designates the week beginning October 19, 2025, as National Chemistry Week; supports the goals and welcomes participants of the 36th annual National Chemistry Week; recognizes the need to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields and encourage youth from underrepresented groups to pursue careers in these fields; and commends the American Chemical Society (ACS) and partners including the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE), Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), and American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) for their engagement in National Chemistry Week.
