This section expresses the sense of the Senate by (1) supporting designation of World Menopause Awareness Month; (2) recognizing the impact of menopause on women, society, health, and economic development; (3) promoting inclusion of menopause training in health worker curricula; (4) supporting women's access to health information and services for healthy aging; (5) encouraging the Secretaries of Health and Human Services, Defense, and Veterans Affairs to provide menopause information and screening tools to women and providers, conduct additional research, and update related resources; and (6) requesting the Secretary of the Senate to transmit the resolution to the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
