This section expresses the sense of the Senate that the Trump administration (1) is legally obligated to fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) through the contingency fund, (2) has legal authority and funds to finance SNAP through November 2025, (3) should exercise this authority due to its importance for the health and wellness of families experiencing hunger—including approximately 16 million children, 8 million seniors, 4 million people with disabilities, and 1.2 million veterans—and (4) should immediately fund SNAP for November 2025.
