S.Res. 504 — A resolution expressing support for the designation of November 20, 2025, through December 20, 2025, as "National Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month".

This section expresses the sense of the Senate supporting (1) the designation of November 20, 2025, through December 20, 2025, as National Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month; (2) efforts to raise awareness of and provide support services to survivors of homicide victims (including families, schools, and communities) and to encourage research to better address needs of violence-impacted families and communities, improve access to and quality of behavioral health services for such survivors, and raise the national homicide clearance rate (currently near 50%, among the lowest in the developed world); and (3) calls on the people of the United States, interest groups, and affected persons to promote awareness of such survivors, take an active role in ending gun violence and homicide, respond compassionately to affected families, and observe the month with appropriate activities.
