This section designates (1) November 2025 as National Lung Cancer Awareness Month; (2) the first week of November 2025 as National Women's Lung Cancer Awareness Week; and (3) the second Saturday of November 2025 as National Lung Cancer Screening Day; (4) supports the purposes and ideals of National Lung Cancer Awareness Month; (5) promotes awareness, education, and research on lung cancer risk factor mitigation, screening, treatment, and its effects on minorities and never-smokers; and (6) encourages public observance through related activities.
