S.Res. 574 — A resolution observing the fifth anniversary of the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, and recognizing the essential work of United States Capitol personnel, including the United States Capitol Police.

This section expresses the sense of the Senate (1) thanking the United States Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, United States Capitol personnel, and responding law enforcement officers for their bravery and service; (2) recognizing the strength, skill, and dedication of United States Capitol personnel, including their work on January 6, 2021, and thereafter to restore the Capitol and ensure the continuity of democracy; and (3) reaffirming commitment to protecting against efforts to undermine democracy and to upholding and defending the Constitution, including defense of the legislative branch.
