S.Res. 582 — A resolution expressing the sense of the Senate in support of Operation Absolute Resolve.

This section expresses the sense of the Senate (1) supporting President Trump’s military and law enforcement efforts under Operation Absolute Resolve to arrest Nicolás Maduro and bring him to justice; (2) commending the Trump Administration’s resolute action and praising the bravery of U.S. servicemembers and law enforcement officers who participated; and (3) supporting President Trump’s efforts to assist the Venezuelan people in their fight for freedom.
