S.Res. 591 — A resolution recognizing the 30th anniversary of the first flight of the F/A-18 E1 Super Hornet from Lambert Field in St. Louis, Missouri, and the 30 years of service of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet to the United States Navy and to allies of the United States.

This section recognizes (1) the achievements and contributions of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet to U.S. national security; (2) the dedication, service, and sacrifice of U.S. Navy pilots and weapons systems officers who operate it; (3) the dedication, service, and sacrifice of its Navy maintenance teams; (4) its role in maintaining naval supremacy and ensuring freedom of the seas; and (5) directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to the National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri.
