This section supports the designation of March 2026 as Music in Our Schools Month and recognizes (1) the fundamental importance of music to U.S. culture, (2) music's long history as an integral part of U.S. schools, (3) disparate access to high-quality music education across the United States, and (4) the need to further support music teaching and learning in public schools.
