This section expresses the sense of the Senate (1) supporting designation of May 10, 2026, as "National Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Mental Health Day"; (2) recognizing the importance of mental health to family and community well-being; (3) acknowledging the need to raise awareness and improve mental health care quality for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities; (4) recognizing benefits of celebrating cultural and linguistic heritage for mental health; and (5) encouraging federal, state, and local health agencies to adopt laws, policies, and guidance improving help-seeking rates for mental health services among Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities and other communities of color.
